Whole corridor of residents daring to be different, alive

Resilience demonstrated

A side of town once bustling with action

The new place to thrive

Until racism and eminent domain tried to snuff it out

That’s why it’s glory to the land

The people who still there, still care

The businesses make the city culture

The people too

I remember the Cadillacs and furs on Burleigh

I dare not forget the shine it used to have

Can’t let a hater take away from the street that make Milwaukee

Wouldn’t be 4Waukee if I ain’t shine light on goodness.

Love to the GOODLAND
